I am a lecturer at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) in Asian American Studies department and with the Health Justice and Community initiative. My research is on Cambodian American transgenerational trauma healing (emphasis on the healing!). My work intersects between critical refugee studies, environmental justice, and decolonizing mental health.

I received my PhD from the University of California San Diego (UCSD), my MA in ethics, peace and global affairs from American University, and my BA in psychology from UCSD.
